We are so lucky to be able to share our wonderful animals with you all, providing a safe, educational experience for all ages and abilities.
Our life enrichment farm is just that - Enriching the lives of the animals that we care for and our visitors alike. (Opening at our new site In Merthyr Tydfil later in the year)

We began our journey back in February 2019 with 2 pet alpacas, it was a very exciting brand new venture for myself and my 3 sons, i'll never forget the feeling of calmness that came over me and how special they made me feel, just being in their company. But unfortunately one of the boys died within 2 days. We did everything we could as he started to go downhill, but he was seriously malnourished and been neglected with previous pneumonia scars on his lungs and passed away. We were devastated as you can imagine and soon discovered that these beautiful animals were also in need of special help and a sanctuary of their own where they would live a happy and healthy life within a large herd with lots of land to roam free, so we began our quest to re-home as many alpacas in need as possible. To date we have travelled all over the UK and given 56 alpacas and 88 Llamas a new home, not just rescued, but in most cases their owners circumstances have changed and we have gladly brought them to our beautiful farm and now expanded into re-homing other farm animals in need, where we can share them with you all with private meet and greet sessions in our beautiful Welsh Valley.

MEET SOME OF OUR BEAUTIFUL ANIMALS.

BILLY

Billy was our 1st ever alpaca, he came to us with his brother in February 2019 but unfortunately George was so neglected and died 2 days later due to being so malnourished and signs of previous pneumonia. It wasn't the best new venture with alpacas but that's what made us realise that these anomalous animlas are also sadly being neglected.

Billy has captured the hearts of everyone that has visited us back in 2021 at our rented land in Pontardawe, Swansea. He really is a character and not your average alpaca. We are so proud to say that although it was touch and go whether he would make it, being so malnourished like his brother, but here he is, capturing anyone's heart who meets him - xxx

FRANK

Frank came to us September 2020 with his son Shaun 2 mths old, Shaun's mum Charlotte and her sister Sally. They had been left in a field together for years so Frank had severe "Berserk" syndrome which is not a good relationship between male and female alpacas because they get separation issues when then eventually split up, which is best for both animals, to be separated into different fields. It was very challenging but after 3 months, we finally reversed his addiction. He now eats out of visitors hands and is a completely different, adorable, calm alpaca.

We have now luckily successfully reversed the syndrome in other alpacas - it is extremely rewarding.

MABEL

Mabel was literally a walking skeleton when we found her while rescuing another 3 sheep from a local field in September 2020, with even our vet suggesting it was too late for her to recuperate. Thank goodness she proved us all wrong. She lives happily now with 11 alpaca gal pals and Mavis our Sufflok sheep in our life-enrichment farm.

DIANA

We happily travelled to Bournemouth one sunny day back in 2021 to pick up 6 alpaca ladies that hadn't been sheared, wormed, vitamin jabbed or vaccinated in 2 years as their owner was struggling financially, she was so happy to have found us on the website and the feeling was mutual - Diana and her 5 sisters, ranging from 5 years old are all doing really well now and extremely happy here in their forever home.

CANDY AND ANNABELLE

Candy (white) and Annabelle weren't in the best of condition when they came to us back in 2020, Annabelle had very poor skin condition and Candy's hooves need immediate attention. Candy looked to be overweight so we thought she was with foal, but 11 and a half months later with no show, we gave up on that happening. To our surprise, a year to the date that we rehomed her - Baby Freya arrived xXx One of the best days of my life, finding her that morning.

MONTY xXx

Monty - Well what can i say...... What an incredible animal to be in the presence of xXx We rehomed him at 25 yrs of age, we knew we wouldn't have him for very long, but every day was a blessing. He had never been sheared, had a shelter, hay or water and he lived to this ripe old age, which is their expectancy. For the whole 10 weeks he spent with us, they were the best days of my life. What an incredible animal xXx See you again one day my friend RIP Monty xXx
